Did you know… donkeys have a cross marking on their backs? This is the story of how it got there:
A very long time ago, Jesus rode a donkey to Jerusalem. A week later, Jesus was ordered to be crucified. The donkey loved Jesus because he was so kind, and wanted to help him carry the heavy cross. But the crowd of people pushed the donkey away. Despite being pushed away, the loyal little donkey waited by the cross and wouldn’t leave. The people gradually went home, but still the donkey stayed with Jesus. The donkey didn’t want to watch the crucifixion so had turned her head away. As the sun set, the shadow of the cross fell upon the donkey’s back and shoulders. And you can see the cross on the donkey’s back when they visit you.
Donkeys Indianna Black and Jasmin even visited the National Art School to pose. They are both hoping they are a contender for the Archibald Prize!
Thank you so much for coming and visiting our Melbourne Cup party! Everybody loved the little donkeys and they made the day extra special.
The Kindifarm staff were amazing and relaxed, on time and trouble free.
One more big thank you!
We had the pleasure of having both donkeys, Carlotta and Snookums visit us at our wedding. Snookums starred in some of our professional wedding photos and Carlotta went around to all the guests who were given the opportunity to feed her carrots and take some cute selfies. The Kindifarm staff was very relaxed and friendly and made sure I had all the photos I wanted before leaving our event!
Chelsea's visit was wonderful . Her sweet nature was contagious delighting adults and children alike. Watching Chelsea
walking down the church followed by the children was very moving.
We would love her to visit again . Thank you all so much .Michelle.
We LOVED having Kindifarm at our event - at the end we had to force them to pack up because the kids simply would not go home! Well done to all the team!
